Sequel to AI+Compassion Manga-thon, “AI + Compassion: Dialogue Edition”!
We had an exciting event, ‘AI＋Compassion Manga-thon: "Envision & Co-elevate World with Technologies and AI together with Manga Artists"’, last month (Nov 16) where we had a great turnout from many different backgrounds including a fair number of young engineers and entrepreneurs from Kyoto University!
This sequel is inspired by the conversation at the after-party of the Manga-thon about how the current engineering process lacks consideration for underlying philosophy.
We will bring back three speakers - Philosophy Prof Yoshihiro Tanigawa who studies modern and pop culture and its philosophy, and LOVOT engineer Megumi Takada, and the creator of Honda’s ASIMO robot Taizo Yoshikawa for a fireside chat!
We will explore the intersection of philosophy and engineering and how that would impact the future. In response, we have decided to host a follow-up event, “AI and Compassion: Dialogue Edition,” to revisit the initial…
