Dr. Kawamura became involved in establishing the NPO Sachi House and the palliative care ward "Ima Koko." Currently, while working as a palliative care physician at the palliative care ward "Ima Koko" and at Sachi House Fuji—a second home for cancer patients, Dr. Kawamura is devoted and engaged in creating places and systems that allow anyone, even if they become ill, to live valuing what is important to them until the very end through activities such as creating the "414 (Yoishi= rhymes with  “good death” in Japanese) Card" and the "After I Die Card," as well as giving lectures.
