Narumi Yoshikawa
Agricultural anthropologist, PhD in agricultural economics. Professor at Prefectural University of Hiroshima and founder of the Waseda University Human & Natural Resource Management Institute. The curatorial work of Issey Miyake, a Japanese fashion designer who combines Eastern and Western elements and creates clothes based on the concept of "a piece of cloth", exploring the relationship between the body and cloth based on a new technology-driven imagination. He has a unique background in public relations in the field. After experimenting with creating conceptual works with MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO, he seeks insight into nature. He studied the relationship between nature and humans, particularly as a fieldworker exploring the path to sustainable agriculture. In recent years, he has contributed to the development of environmental human resources in 10 Asian countries based on educational activities through field work and nature experiences both domestically and internationally.
