Nobuhiro Mitsuoka
Fellow Harvard GSD/ Technology Adviser
He is an expert in planning and bringing new projects to fruition. He is currently working on the SX (Sustainable Transformation) Project at Harvard University. He has worked as a project manager for NTTDATA, a Japanese company, for 15 years, building systems for government, healthcare, and corporate clients. He was also one of the members of the personnel and wage system reform at the company.
During his diplomatic service, he served as manager of an electronic visa project for the entire Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as a negotiator for Alibaba, Inc. He also worked with a Japanese company to establish a coffee business in rural China to help people escape poverty. He was also a member of the team that rescued over 800 Japanese from the blockaded city of Wuhan during COVID-19.
