TAIZO YOSHIKAWA has been researching and developing robot technology for many years at Honda Fundamental Research Laboratory. In the humanoid robot project, he has been involved in the development of the humanoid robot ASIMO. In joint research on a humanoid robot with Stanford University, he has not only promoted the project as a project leader but also realized various new robot technologies as a Visiting Scholar for many years. He also earned an Eng.D in Mechanical Engineering through his research work at Stanford University. He is currently working on various technology realizations in the Avatar Robot project.
