Bio

Yasuhiro Kobayashi is the co-founder and representative of Ecological Memes, a collective dedicated to reexamining the relationship between humans and nature, and exploring and practicing regeneration—a future where people flourish in harmony with other life forms and the Earth’s ecosystems.

He is the Japanese translator of the book Regenerative Leadership. After traveling through 28 countries including India and Kenya, he worked in supporting social entrepreneurs. He then expanded his work to support business creation and organizational transformation rooted in individual purpose and lived experience, across a wide range of industries. Eventually, he became independent.

Currently, he works as a freelance catalyst and co-creation facilitator, supporting and mediating vision and mission development, business creation, and leadership cultivation, primarily aimed at realizing a circular and regenerative society.

His motto is “Flow like drifting clouds and flowing water.” He is a father of one. His passions led him to acquire qualifications as a licensed interpreter guide and in traditional Chinese medicine and medicinal cuisine.

He is also the owner of Kasukabe Farm, a regenerative community farm. To introduce and deepen the practice of Regenerative Leadership in Japan, he engages in lectures, advisory services, business support, and leadership programs.
