Emi Takada
Born in 1980, Takada graduated from the Department of Intelligent Mechanical Engineering at the University of Electro-Communications and earned her doctorate in engineering from its Graduate School of Information Systems. Since April 2009, she has worked in inkjet research at SCREEN Holdings. She spent about two years traveling across South America, Antarctica, and Europe before joining GROOVE X in 2016, where she has been involved in developing LOVOT. Her responsibilities include researching the relationship between attachment to robots and owner behavior, evaluating and enhancing LOVOT’s functionalities, and developing structures and controls for internal cooling and external warmth, along with servo development.
