
Nobuhiro Mitsuoka

He is an expert in planning and bringing new projects to fruition. He is currently working on the SX (Sustainable Transformation) Project at Harvard University.Â
He has worked as a project manager for NTTDATA, a Japanese company, for 15 years, building systems for government, healthcare, and corporate clients. He was also one of the members of the personnel and wage system reform at the company.
During his diplomatic service, he served as manager of an electronic visa project for the entire Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as a negotiator for Alibaba, Inc. He also worked with a Japanese company to establish a coffee business in rural China to help people escape poverty. He was also a member of the team that rescued over 800 Japanese from the blockaded city of Wuhan during COVID-19.
Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, he has been involved in supporting victims and welfare facilities nationwide as a representative of an NPO. In December 2019, he was recognized by former US Vice President Al Gore as one of the world's climate change leaders and has been working with Japanese companies and schools on climate He is involved in climate change action and SDGs workshops and speaking engagements.
